Importance of Skincare Routine

Recently, me and my wife celebrated our wedding anniversary. We found ourselves reminiscing about the time we met and became husband and wife, and how far we have come together in our lives. We were both, and still are, very grateful for the amazing relationship we have been blessed to have and are still sharing.

I also began thinking about the “stages of life” that we have experienced over the years, and how our skin care routines have changed. I shared my thoughts on this with my wife and she also made note of some of the changes in her routine.

Before we became husband and wife, we both had very good skin care routines. I have been using the same skin care products for many years now, and my wife has also been using the same products since she started using them.

When we first started dating, I would take her to the beauty counter at Target and pick out her products. We would shop together and look for a great mix of products to give her a healthy, well-balanced regimen that would suit her skin type.

As our family grew, we continued to use the same products we used before, but we started to use more products to keep up with the ever-increasing family members. We used more products to keep the baby’s skin healthy, and to protect the baby’s sensitive skin from all the outside elements.

When we became pregnant with our third child, we decided to take a different approach. We knew that our new baby was going to be the most delicate baby of all of the children, so we decided to start using products that would be good for the baby’s skin, but were also gentle for our own skin. We also wanted to make sure that our skin would be able to handle the baby’s hormones and we wanted to make sure that our skin would still be healthy and strong as our third child arrived.

As we continued to grow as a family, we started to feel that we needed to change our routine again. My wife and I both had started feeling the effects of aging, and we wanted to take the time to make sure that our skin was healthy and looking its best.

We started using products that were specifically designed for aging skin, and we started using products that would help to prevent the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines and age spots. We also used products that would help to promote cell turnover and the production of new skin.
